It has only been 3 years since the introduction of the series 1 by BMW. This year, BMW has revealed the Concept version of the series 1 coupe. An extraordiary body with characteristics of the 3-series coupe (rear) and the sport features of the coupe models of BMW, such as the front bumper, side skirts and the rear diffuser. Best of all are the newly developed diesel engines, which are the world's most poweful 4 cylinder diesel engine ever produced. 120d turboc - 1995cc - 177 bhp / 0-100Kmh 7.6 sec Top 123d twin turbo - 1995cc - 204bhp / 0-100Kmh 7.0 sec, Top Speed 148 MPH And for those that want to feel the extreme side of the BMW there is the option of the 3 litre twin turbo-charged engine 3.0 135i, producing 306bhp reaching an electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph. This is the result of the double Vanos technology combined with the lightweight engineering. The official release of this new model is not expected to come until the spring of 2008 with prices that are yet to be confirmed so it is worth waiting to see this car in the streets of Cyprus.
